The wine list is way overpriced for the quality of wine in my opinion. There is a huge hamburger and pulled pork sandwich, a chicken dish, rainbow trout, ribeye steak dish, and a filet mignon. Our server introduced herself ( she did a very good job throughout the meal) and served us water out of a vintage looking milk bottle. When our party was seated, we noticed that there was no tablecloth on the tables but the napkins were dark colored cloth.I like the dark color so the lint doesn't show on my clothes.
Once you've arrived, the building is timber frame and mountain stone.very pretty. Perched atop a mountain, the view is amazing however the road to the restaurant is very steep and bumpy. This restaurant is more about the location and much less about the food. My brother in law ordered their signature beer and said it was good. Price was a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. We are going up again to try something else. All in all we were nevertheless satisfied. One friend ordered the chicken wings and declared it was delicious. My brother in law ordered the fish taco and he liked it. Three friends ordered the smash burger which looked so delicious and huge! They confirmed it was! One ordered the calamari which was passed around for everybody to taste and this one is really good! Next time we go I will order this with the yummy farro. The salad was a favorite but the fries were a little bit salty. It was okay but nothing to drive home about as the steak was tasteless. My husband and I ordered it medium well but arrived well done. It was a chilly evening but outside the porch was the most awesome view of the Tennessee river and southern sunset. Unexpected crowd filled up the medium size room. The restaurant is located before the gated community on the right side and sits side by side the huge subdivision gym. The road going up has deteriorated with lots of potholes.
